Sample data. Figures on this site are samples until the first monthly index publishes.

Methodology

What a figure is

Every figure on Robobook is a statistic over observations of used robots, each with a price, a model, a year, operating hours and a condition grade. Each figure shows its basis, its observation count and its as-of date.

Asking and sold prices

Asking prices come from public listings. Sold prices come from dealers and auctioneers that share results. Robobook labels each price as asking or sold, and a figure that mixes both says so.

How the estimate is calculated

For a model, year and operating hours, Robobook takes observations within two years of the year and within 30% of the hours, then reports the 25th percentile, the median and the 75th percentile of price in US dollars. When fewer than 5 observations match, the search widens to four years and drops the hours filter, and the page says so. With fewer than 5 observations after widening, Robobook shows no estimate.

Sources and permissions

Robobook collects public listings only from sources whose terms permit it, and removes any source on request. Dealers and auctioneers that share sold prices are named on the site only with their consent. Published downloads contain aggregated statistics and no listing links.

Updates

The index is computed once a month for the prior month. Model pages refresh after each run.

Limits

Condition grades are reported by sellers. Listings that never sell remain in the asking-price figures. Humanoids have no observed resale at this time, and Robobook shows no humanoid estimates until it does. Figures are estimates for reference and are not appraisals.
